Sleet, rain and freezing rain here in Maryland. (Last Wednesday night was bad), but the weather man says it's comong.................. Weds or Thurs supposed to be 56 degrees.

Its been icing here in west central Ohio for over 2 1/2 hrs now. Its suppose to do this all night with very high winds. A cold front is moving in and the temps are predicted to drop to the single digits(sp) Wed. and Thurs. nights. I think Id rather have the 1-2 feet of snow than all this ice. Hope everyone stays safe and no one loses power.

Got about 10 inches today  on top of the 2 ft we already have here in NY. Tomorrow more of the same plus ice storm  hope the power stays on.

Southern Oklahoma report--we got about 6 inches of ice and snow--no power outtages luckily--so we are really in " good" shape compared to Okla. City and Tulsa.  Bitterly cold tho--12 degrees now but I think the wind chill is 6 below or something.  Dogs are running in and out like it is a spring day!!!!! My Sister dog spent a lot of the day on the patio when it was still snowing--she loves the cold.  Glad everyone is OK.

Austrailia's on the edge of experiencing devastating property damage and record death tolls.  The continent is already inundated with flooding, they're expecting 3 more FEET of rain from category 5 cyclone Yasi and we're whining about some snow and ice.  Guess it's all about perspective!

Horrible here. Ridiculous wind and snow. Can't believe we're in for a whole night of this. A transformer blew where some family of ours lives about 35 minutes away and they've already been told it may take days. Praying mine holds out at least a few more hours.
