Tellin' ya, go down the road, make a deal with the Amish and start feeding that boy raw. Your hubby can bag a deer every few weeks and Prince will eat like a king.

No  have not heard anything about WIld Pink Salmon.....last of my sentence    reread it.....FREEZE..

I have friends in Washington state and Alaska that feed fresh wild salmon  done like   Jackie (Kalibeck) noted.

I eat plenty of  PINK SALMON   love it...but I also buy   Fresh WIld Alaskan salmon and grill IT with  Lemon Pepper and  olive oil....

Raw meat of any kind, of organ can have parasites.....old discussion..  if you are afraid of it...FEED KIBBLE>

tired of trying to prove a point...I do it MY WAY   YOU DO IT YOUR WAY>. For some odd reason  I have no vet bills..

YR....I think you misunderstood my last post...I did notice that you said to freeze.....: )

As far as "YOUR WAY"..."MY WAY"....I do not have a way as of now, I am in the process of trying to figure it out is all......: )

With regard to being afraid of feeding raw, the only thing that bothers me is bones...lol....

As you say, there are risks of bacteria in any raw meat, but it was my understanding that salmon was of special concern....I only wanted clarification on the freezing....: )

Kelly,,,,You are right he would eat like a king....When the weather breaks I am going to speak to some of the Amish neighbors....: )

I recently bought some frozen, undressed, raw sardines (containing all the organs/viscera). I feed them frozen like popsicles (no sticks!). Dogs love them.
