Huh?  There are lots of web hosts out there that provide a reasonably priced, quality hosting service.  It isn't rocket science to partition a server and attach it to the web.

GSd Newie I too had that problem with websites until I learned how to do it right. Been with Homestead for over 5years now and I have not had a problem being listed even with my old www names still point to me now. It just depends on what you want and how much you are willing to learn :)

Keith, some of us less computer savvy people have no clue as to what you just said :) I think rocket science may be easier.

Well, I paid homestead for years and the only traffic site had were direct link users that I gave link to. The basic gold package they do not make you indexed which means if someone is looking for your product they will not get your website in search engines. When I signed up it said gold package included this indexing. It was never done and I did not know. It was a waste. I then felt angry and felt taken advantage of because you pay them so that when you dont know better it is a peace of mind that it is done right. I am not computer illiterate and maintained the site by myself but I was clueless about promotting it and indexing. If someone does not know about this I am speaking up so that they do not have the same thing happen to them.

Why pay for homestead when I have found out I can pay only 12 bucks a year own the domain and have an even easier way of making my website than homesteads outdated system that frankly took much more of the time I could have better used in life and I get a thousand percent more advertisement. Their web building program is old and slow and ineficient. I prefer that I took the time to do better for myself on it and hope to save others the issues I had.
