Orijen is a wonderful puppy food, but be careful they will get fat easily ..... it has very high protein and fat content.

Also, Orijen is a great food, but the LB pup formula in particular is very well know for causing loose stools. For a large breed pup, you could feed the Origen adult formula, if you wanted to use that food.
It's not a good idea to feed raw and kibble together, as the kibble takes a very long time to digest, and slows the passing of the raw food through the gut - which is a problem.
I feed my pup Taste of the Wild, I live in BC. It costs about the same as Orijen, and is easier on the stomach. I have fed Orijen to my dogs in the past however, and it is a good food.
Depends on your budget though.

i think the idea of feeding raw is #1 it lays longer in the stomach and adds the bacteria needed to properly digest and use the nuterants avaiable.

If you are from Canada why are you asking about Dog food
You have among the best Kibble there is on the Market From Alberta, Champion Pet Foods selling Acana and Orijen, I use those over here in Belgium, You will not buy better Kibble anywhere and you have it there in front of you.

I have been using Orijen for about 6 weeks now which I understand is made in Canada. My dogs love it and I can tell a difference in their coat and energy level.
