Ace,
I have met and trained with several members from this forum. I have also had them back to my house for dinner and drinks. I have met some really great people from the forum and enjoyed meeting them and their dogs.

Max, did you break into my liquor cabinet? WTF was right!
I've trained with several people that come and go on here. Met many others, but I never I.D. Myself. That is the only covert aspect. I once bought a pup from someone that started talking about the database when I was there. He said Don Corleone is an A-hole. I laughed. Thought it was funny.

"He said Don Corleone is an A-hole."
I hear that about Keith Grossman all the time, too!

I've tried to meet people at a dog event in my area via this board, but no one would tell me where it was! LOL I thought that was pretty covert, I still think it was because everyone thought I was a PETA spy.

You know a lot of things can get lost in translation when on a messageboard.
In the end we all love dogs and love to train and is nice to put a face with a name, shake hands and hop on the training field. Always something to lean and share info. Sometimes you realize you may not differ much at all.
I hope this summer to egt out with mine and if I am in the area, would love to learn from many on here.

Sable59,
I don't mind at all. But some of the credit goes to Bernhard Flinks. When he visited last year he came with me to test and select dogs for our PD. I stole a couple of things from him and tweaked some things that we do. What was interesting was that we did almost the same selection test only in slightly different order. I adjusted the order of some of the exercises we do after Bernhard's visit.

For a few weeks i trained with the 2010 WUSV Champion, However the Operation of my Brother and the Weather here in Belgium stopped all Training at least the last 6 weeks where i live, the Fields being over a foot deep in Snow, and walking impossible due to solid Ice on the Roads, Verges not possible to walk through however i tried and hitting the road some 15 times in the process of trying to exercise 3 Dogs
As soon as it gets safe to drive the distance to the Club i will be back training with him and the members, i sure picked up a fair bit in the short time i have been lucky to train with him, A true Master of the Sport,
At the moment i am using the method with Izzy on Obed that he trained 2 World Champions with as Puppies to adulthood, With the other Pup 9 month old Gina we are using the method he trained another Dog to become World Champion, just to get the Pups Focus on the handler and it is working, Problem is my brother is her handler now she is getting used to me
