WTH is that?  It is common a'hole.  I don't care if you like my comments or not.  I own a boarding and training kennel and I have worked with myriad working dogs both male and female for 29 years and I have seen this behavior numerous times.  I've got 3 females within 100 feet of where I am sitting that do the exact same thing.  I've got a life GSD moron, kiss my ass.

I had a very dominant bitch that did that..She would back her rear up to a tree to mark her spot on the bark of a tree, post or tire where another dog had been....

Sitas mom,
I  have to agree with you, I have the exact same thoughts....Like I said in another post, somethings won't change because they can't......But for the most part, I think this forum, and most of its members are really trying to move on in the right direction.....Some are stuck in the same old rut....JMO

Phil that's not my point. Countless post after post I'll see you come along, comment, with the high ego of yours that you know everything (not referring to this post only). You're always right, other posts, questions, or comments are just plain stupid in your eyes and should not have even been asked.  Whether this topic itself is common was not what I was getting at...... So you have a training and boarding kennel for 29 years now........stroke your ego why don't you....

Sure I have an inflated ego,,,,it's called confidence and pride in what you are do.  When I comment, it's from experience and passion for what I do.  I don't tell a mechanic how to fix my car or a plumber how to fix my leaky pipes.  When I have needed knee surgeries, I've gone to the best guy I can find and I put myself in his hands.  I hope he has an ego and is proud of his work as well.  I certainly wouldn't go to someone who learned about the human body from the game "Operation".

I know plenty of mechanics who don't boast and act like you do in their expertise. Actually they're quite the opposite.  They know what they're doing, but they're very humble people.  Just as in other areas.  I'm a very good musician, I could have pursued it if I wanted to, just like friends of mine from my town who are a band called "Paramore" who are now making it big in the music world. They are far from how you act.  But any good musician should not have a big ego about it. In fact they should be quite the opposite in my opinion. I'm a drummer.....I've played for I don't know how many years now, I'm self taught, never needed a lesson in my life and I can out play most anyone I've met.....but does that mean I should act proud and boast about it......no. Actually I help those learn who aren't quite there, and I teach in a nice way about it too. I don't go around to other drummers acting like they suck because they're just starting out, and I don't act like the questions they ask are stupid either.  Too many trainers in the dog world are just "IT" they know it all.  So they consider all questions stupid.  They may be confident, but a lot are also cocky.

I'll take any female with hiking legs! I'm a leg man. I'll admit it. A tone leg is sexy.
