My three Fur kids love their cat. He has raised each of them from puppy hood. "Lucky cat" has always loved them. Tonight they have each said their last good nights. He is slipping quietly into a coma due to his age and kidney failure. 
My dogs all have a healthy respect for cats and other animals due to Lucky Cats demeanor.

I love it when someone tries to give my dog a command in English, and she just looks at me, watching for a sign... so I tell the person that she speaks German. When they ask what the German commands are, I say "Well, for down you say platz and then for sit you say sitz." They go from thinking she is untrained, to being amazed when my dog does each command as I say it even just in conversation.

RPK... my condolences... Lucky Cat sounds he was an awesome companion and teacher.
