Very interesting article. I would like to ad to it that many believe that spine problems also cause unilateral HD. The interesting questions however is then if it is caused by spine then why it is usually the LEFT hip which is worse.

I have posted that article many times and I will continue to; there are so many cases that I think are really injury as opposed to genes.

DebiSue, I will try to find some bad hips to post. I'll start a thread.

OFA is a comsensus of three independent Radiologists not one male evaluator who might get in a fight with his wife The President of OFA is a Women...as are many of the readers.......I don't see a problem with those hips myself but I'm not a Board certified Radiologist

I would also say OFA Fair on the hips.

JayJay, did these go off to OFA? If so, no need to wait 4 weeks. Call them after 2 weeks and they will probably have your rating done.

I will be sad that they only turn out to be fair. I bought him fully grown so I wasn't able to control anything about him as a pup or if he had some type of injury that I wasn't told about. I couldn't ask for a better dog though. The x-rays were e-mailed off Friday and I'm fine waiting now that I got some opinions since the vet left as soon as the x-rays were taken so I was unable to talk to her. Thanks for all the feedback.
