Quesiton for Prager - Page 2

Vickie uses this site all the time and tells me about stuff going on here but did say Prager knows alot about czech dogs so when that person i ran into at the vet office mentioned Prager too I decided to come here and ask.  The person at the vet didn't tell me his name but did say the pedigreedatabase forum is awful.  I am sorry I posted and I will not be back.  Vickie does a good job importing dogs for me so I guess I dont really need to talk to Prager any further as I see nothing to benefit me here.  Thats too bad because I have an oil lease coming due and I was looking at getting a couple of czech dogs and suprising Vickie.  I will just let Vickie do the shopping since she loves it so much and she is darn good at it too...haha!  Her last shopping spree budget was $20K....it was fun, like a kid in a candy store.

Taos why were you into dogs and breeding again?  You said you have no time, but you have everything from Hessel to wanting to buy Shilo Shepherds?   Looking at your website it looks like you produce a lot of pet litters.  Why not take one dog and learn the sport of Schutzhund instaed of buying and breeding a bunch of puppies?  Is it about making money or just being  a hobby breeder? 

And on the litters issue.  That Troja x Basco Heldmann litter IS my litter.  Vickie knew the stud dogs owner and handled everything for me.  I have seen dogs on multiple websites before so what is the big deal?  Sometimes I don't understand Vickie though because she has nice dogs but she has had 1 litter of puppies since I have known her and there were only 2 puppies in the litter  and she said she was disappointed in the quality so she spayed both pups and gave them away and didnt even register them.  I thought she should have sold them for the price of vaccinations and the spay but she didnt want to do that.  I think she likes to train more than breed.

As I said, I like to have nice dogs.  Vickie said the puppy market has been flat and she is right.  I should have listened to her.  I have much to learn.  I dont know much about Shilo Shepherds just saw this guy at the vet office and I liked the dog.  Have not talked to Vickie about Shilo's yet.

I am sorry I came here.  I get enough of this kind of attitude and immauturity in the adolescent psych ward that I work in day in, day out.

 If you wanted to ask Prager a question, you could've sent him a private message, or gone to his site; I'm fairly certain he has contact info on his site. He has been nothing but a gentleman to you, and in light of everything else going on here (much of which  Vickie is involved in), when you post a question like that, it's really no wonder you were grouped in with troublemakers. I think you're painting with a wide brush in terms of judging us all. 

When I'm looking for a person/info from a person, I usually go to their site, if they have one, not post on a public forum they belong to. Now, if I wanted to cause trouble/scandal/controversy, I would pop up just as one of my "parters" was going head to head w/that person and not quitting, and ask the person (who is a highly successful businessman) about a very controversial breed among GSD people...and I'd do it on a massively huge international forum.

In case you care about why you got that reaction................

A question like what?  What was wrong with the question I asked?  Since I am fairly new to this site am I not allowed to ask certain questions?  If that is true please have it added to the TOS or post it somewhere what new people are allowed to ask and not ask.  I was told to come HERE and aske Prager.  I just did what I was instructed to do.

I think my brush isnt really that wide.  I have read many other posts here and I see who does what.

Vickie was at my house and we took new pics of my dogs and the dogs that need to be sold.  She put some adds here in the classifieds section.  We talked about this Malaysia person so she asked a question about shipping to Malaysia.  I have nothing to hide.  Vickie works for me and I was signed to pedigreedatabase so she could post everything as I dont know how to put pictures on the internet.
