I think I see feathering around the ears in the second photo, so I do believe he would classify as a LC.  LC/plush sables are more common than one would think. There is a kennel in Idaho and a kennel in Nebraska that produce a large number of LC sables.  Steph, if you want the name of the kennels, please PM me.

Steph, to funny, "NO WAY IS HE STAYING HERE". I AM LMAO !!!!!!!!!
He is a beautie. I wish him a forever home.

He´s a very nice longcoat-sable. They´re not very rare, as there´re some working lines which carry the longcoat gene.
Wish the best to get him a new home!

Doesn't look like any Puck stuff I saw. Granted Puck doesn't produce many really big boned DDr looking dogs but they do not appear to be as fine boned  as this dog appears to be. Does look like a nice dog. He is a plush coat not a long coat . has anyone tested the dog ?

I agree with WRESTLEMAN   no Puck

no telling what lines he has .....American cross maybe with a german line carring the lc and there are a lot of them...Uran v wildsteigerland produced my Bear and he was plush out of Lava v Korbelbach  but Uran has the LC gene..among many others.

This dog is fine boned...and already matured.

Good luck Steph..

Well, he looks like a LSC to me, only out of coat.  My girl looks exactly the same right now.   I agree with Til, they happen once and a while in working lines,  that is how I got my girl.
