The major problem with Pinnacle is that it freezes and requires a restart often and you lose your work.
suggest if buying read some reviews on Amazon, etc

Pinnacle is mediocre at best... Its a dumbed down version of AVID.

Anyone using ANY editing software should be saving their work often during the edit.
All of them will freeze up if the hardware isn't good enough to handle the graphics...

Video takes up lots of disk space, and oftentimes upgraded video cards and memory are necessary to make them run properly.

Look for active support online before selecting a product.. the user chatboards have better info on them than the company ones..
