Geordie, if a dog has say, 6 CCs he/she could be called 2 x CH so the 27 Champions means just that, 27 different dogs.
But as mentioned previously anyone who needs to state there are 27 Champions in the pedigree is not the sort of person I would think of buying a dog from. Info like that should be a given for a well bred dog.
