Bob, come on, you can't deny that's what a lot of the working line people are looking for in a pup.
I'm just trying to point out two things:
The shiloh is different from the GSD in this regard,
And (NLY since you brought this up!) just becuase they are different, it doesn't mean they have zero drive.
A number of the pups at the litter evaluation this weekend played with the tug, or the ball. Out of the nine, only one showed no play drive.
Sorry, Id dint want to turn this into an argument. I was just pointing out the difference.
Maybe I need a vacation from this place. It seems I'm not allowed to have a difference of opinion any more, and some idiijt is wanting to date me and my horse.
Sorry, my horse Silverfox has been dead since 1976:

Sunsilver:
I my self like to see some fight, ruff and tumble in the puppies, But it,s the part of the experience. It makes you a better person and I would not want it any other way.
Beautiful horse by the way.
Sunsilver I enjoy our little joists, Don,t change a thing. Your always allowed...I,m on bent knee... Just for you :)

So as I see it its a two way street - and you know that continually reliving past arguements about the shiloh and it differences with the GSD will only spark negative reactions. So why would you even bring it up knowing that this board is occupied by mostly GSD owners and that it will only stir the pot.
I could post everytime i meet a Shiloh and every dislike i have with those dogs and the breed stereotype just to piss you off but i dont. So maybe instead of just saying you dont like traits about GSD's and stereotyping them you should simply state stories about your dogs and let the stories speak for themselves!!!

And guess what, when I walk over the baby gate the most she'll do is maybe jump on me, she does not bite things. If you take out puppy toys she's all over them, but she never bites my clothes, hands, or whatever. if I pet her, she sits, she licks but does not bite or nip anything.
Now, Malinois, specifically ones bred for ringsport, on the other hand, you walk into a pen of them and they will all be attached to your pants or anything else :-) Is this good to let them do, no, because they never "win" pants! But I do not believe most GSDs are like this. They are slower to mature as well. I would not hang a puppy from a rag, what good is going to come from that- people do this for a photo maybe, but what if it hurts the teeth or just teaches to the dog to lose their grip and fall off.

Oh no, maybe I should return my GSD to the breeder because she's never done any of that stuff, maybe I got a shitter. LOL

Bob I don't think Sunsilver was trying to say this makes Shilohs better, she was just pointing out one of the differences. Not better, just different. Sunsilver has also many times praised her service dog which is a working line GSD that she rescued from a pretty miserable existence.
Sunsilver I am very mad at you. I have been asking and asking for pictures of your new dog to no avail. Now you come on here and tell us about this litter of pups, but provide no pictures of them either. You are mean and cruel. I NEED PICTURES!!!!
