GSDtravels.
only a couple of months ago, I was dozing when i heard a sound of footsteps in my Bedroom. I had the Pigeon Breeding book that i had been updating on the Computer earlier on the desk,
My brother had something on his mind regards a pair of the Breeders and it was stopping him from sleeping so he came into my room to get the Breeding Book but did not turn on the Landing light so he could see because he did not want to disturb me, Well i was only Cat napping and i was laying with my back away from the noise and Computer, I held my breath for a second and whipped out of Bed and grabbed him in a Neck hold, He could not speak so there was me holding on to him to switch on the Light then i saw who it was, I felt a right Fool
He was not too happy about it etheir, But when that happens you do not stop and ask questions do you
There are Penalties for not being able to sleep correctly

I am definitely in this category GSDT. I go through it for a few months then I can sleep normally for a week or two...Then it comes back. I know what you mean about the iced tea. I drink iced coffee all day long. I suppose I should switch to decaf before dinner :-)
Some nights I'm lucky to get 6 hours of sleep. Other nights (mornings) I take a  nap for an hour or two before I start my day.
My doctor gave me trazadone (ambien and the other perscriptions didn't work)  for nights that I can't sleep and it is the one thing that does knock me out. However on a couple of occasions it gave me bad nightmares and I couldn't wake up from them. <shudder> I would rather feel bad all day than have nightmares I can't wake up from lol.
So there are many nights you'll see me post on here at 3 or 4 in the morning.
I guess I like the "quiet" time for myself when the husband and kids are sleeping and it's just me and the dogs :-)

Oh goodie. I'll have to remember to find this thread, as I am up several times a night. Just 16 days or less, left and I'll have my bladder back to myself. Either have to pee or I'm too hot to get back in bed. It's terrible, I set my A/C at 66 at night but I still have to sit in my leather chair in my office with the fan on high for 15 minutes, sometimes 3 hours before I can go back to sleep. My Doc gave me the green light to use Benadryl fo my allergies. Sometimes it helps me sleep a little longer. Sometimes I am up at 1am popping 2 more. Then of course I have to wait for them to kick in, at least an hour. Blek, can't wait to be able to sleep a full 8 hrs and wake up in the same position I laid down in.

4pack,
I certainly don't envy you. Being pregnant (especially in the heat) is horrid! And with allergies to boot...bleh...
Anyway maybe the little guy will decide to be born on me and VM's birthday, the 21st!  Either way, after he's born (have you forgotten?) you will still be coming to this thread in the middle of the night, you'll just be typing with one hand lol  ;-)
Can't wait to see pictures of him! Hurry up already hehe...

LOL I hope not Stacy. My first slept through the night, with not more than a quick feeding and diaper change from day 1.  No walking or rocking back to sleep at 2am. This ones a boy, so he will probably be a whiner, high maint. with my luck. I'm hoping for baby ASAP. Having him befor fathers day would be great! The sooner the better. I have to get back in shape and back to work, pronto.

Hey! My first son slept through the night too! A full 6 to 8 hours. I still remember the panic I'd feel when I'd wake up before him. I'd run over to the bassinett and practically shake the poor child to make sure he was okay...LOL
The pedi told me to wake him up every 3 hours, my mom (mother of SEVEN) said "Don't you dare!  He will not starve to death in his sleep..." lol
You might get lucky again. Here's a terrible but funny story.
WIth my first kids (even my biggest who was 7lbs6oz) I gained 20 pounds total, so with my youngest I expected to gain about the same. Well it didn't work that way. I think I gained like 15 pounds when I saw the (+) on the stick!
I threw up almost everything I ate so I couldn't grasp WHY I was getting so fat. My doctor had his patients go get on the scale and come back and tell him how much they weighed.
Well I outright lied to his face every visit. I'd say I gained two pounds when I gained like 8... I know it's never a good idea to lie to your doctor, but I couldn't help it. I gained somewhere around sixty pounds and I know he had to know I was lying through my teeth lol... But lie I did... I think the punishment was an emergency c section and it took me months to recover from it, not the 6-8 weeks they said it would take (they lied back to me!) So it took a good two years for me to lose any weight. All the pictures of me taken from that time I say, "yeah I was pregnant" and leave out that I was only like 2 months along

LOL. I gained only about 20lbs so far. Less than the first, but I was fatter to start off with, this time so it all evens up.

LOL I think that was what happened to me, I gained all the extra weight the doctors wanted me to gain in previous pregnancies all in my last...Aint that a bitch?!
And I promised myself I would be in bed by now...And  I was and decided to check my emails (real quick) from my phone. Well the messages were too long so I HAD to come down and read them on the computer. And I figured I was already on the computer I might as well stop in for a minute...Ok off to take a very short walk with Lina and Galan, THEN I'm going to bed and staying there...Hope you get some sleep
