JudyK may be right, my husband stated he was in a health food store and saw a display of it and thought it odd was not Novemeber. I am headed there today and will be stocking up.

I read somewhere that the organic farmers were cranking out pumpkin like crazy and I just went to Safeway and they have plenty of organic pumpkin so I would suggest that if anyone wants pumpkin to check with your local organic stores or maybe Whole Foods or a health food store.

Our local Whole Foods in Northern VA did not carry any - and Giant as well as Safeway were out of all pumpkin including the organic ones. I was able to get a can of the organic from the local Harris Teeter though the price was outrageous.

THIS IS TRAGIC NEWS. SO NO MILFS WILL BE MAKING ME ANY PUMPKIN PIES? SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE ABOUT THIS EMERGENCY. PLEASE TELL ME THE SWEET POTATO CROPS ARE SAFE? WOE IS ME......
