Past employees have alleged parvo outbreaks at Kraftwerk, and Wayne never defends against such.
Just curious;
How do you defend against parvo outbrake?

Just meant he does not deny (or acknowledge) the accusations made on this board.

K9helper,
You may want to actually check out the lawsuits. That way you can learn exactly what they are about and who filed them. BTW--there are disgruntled ex-employees in any successful business, depending, of course, on how you define "successful." However, the legions, mere numbers, of employees passing through a business, "successful" or otherwise, is also a very telling factor.

Mystere,
How do disgruntled employees have anything to do with the quality of breeding done at www.kraftwerkk9.com/ ??
Having high standards and finding the right employees to uphold those standards may be hard to do in the dog breeding industry, which tends to have it's own transient laborers and hobbists, and I don't think draging someones' name through the mud is your job or anyone elses.
You do not have all the facts and unless you want to disclose your name as one of the litigants than please keep your negativity, rumor-mongering clamor to yourself.
You were NOT involved in any of those lawsuits and by the responses you've been posting, seem like you've got an axe to grind and want to gossip more than really help the "breed". The transparency of your intent is glaringly obvious to me and therefore suspect on its own.
I think the amount of satisfied customers at Kraftwerk speak for themselves. www.kraftwerkk9.com/satisfied_customers.php

K9helper,
Your post is utter nonsense and an attempt to obfuscate. No gossip or clamor is involved in my post.
I have given simple, OBJECTIVE suggestions that those who wish to check matters out for themselves can do so, and directed them to the appropriate jurisdictions. The lawsuits are matters of public record and any idiot can have access to them. It is that simple.
Obviously, YOU are the one with issues, if my statements about public records elicit such a response. LOL
Apparently, you have some vested interest, if the idea of people checking matters out for themselves is so threatening.
My posts speak for themselves, and so does yours. :-)
Frankly, I have copies of some of the documents. Do you? :-)

The problem stated here, was not that the past employee's were described so much as disgruntled, but rather they claimed they were actually impeded in trying to care for (and prevent more) sick puppies.
K9 helper, are you employed at Kraftwerk? A new hire? It would make sense of some of your postings on here, if you are.

...and if k9helper is a current Kraftwerk employee (and his post certainly sounds as if he is!!), he would be smart speak with some of the former employees, several of whom are WELL-RESPECTED AND WELL-KNOWN members of the schutzhund community in various parts of the country. They are not involved in the litigation, btw. :-)

I have seen 3 dogs from KraftwerkK9. They are my competition. The dogs I have seen were outstanding.
As far as parvo goes there are different philosophies.
When I was a little kid and my neighbor had a litter of pups he said to me. Do not get attached to them they did not have a "dog sickness" yet. And sure enough 7 out of 10 pups died. Back then there was no immunization and only the strong survived. Now we support dogs with immunizations and because of that we promote weak pups and super virulent viruses by doing so. These days the immunization is not very effective, especially against parvo. Thus some may say that pup who gets sick even after immunized should die. That is for the sake of the GSD's breed immune strength or it may end up like a Rottweiler with super poor immune system.
On top of that the economy of saving a pups is tremendously expensive. at least $750-$2000 per pup. If you have 6 pups sick can you afford to deal with that? In past I was always trying to save the pups and my cost is never less then $750. I did not have parvo for 15 yeas now but have treated other people's pups and I know that the cost is forbidding. And what are you doing besides helping a poor living creature to survive and survival is not very likely?
You are promoting weak immune system genetics . This may seems to be callous but it is the truth.
One of the reasons why Czech GSD lines have better immune system is that the dogs until recently were not immunized.

Hans ,
Thank you for making this point. Sad but true.. but I am also thankful I don't live on property pleged by parvo. The last property we where living in ( just 7 months ago ) I was so very careful with the people i invited onto my property, sprayed there feet with bleach water and gave them hand sanitizer. Unfortunatly you cannot spray people's clothing. People can go visit the pound , or another breeder before coming to your place and bring with them germs. Treat everyone as suspect , go ahead and ask them where they come from .
As I understand it no puppy , even those with Vaccinations, can be immune to Parvo until over 14-16 weeks old. Correct me if I am wrong - because I want to know. I use NeoPar by Neo-tech for Parvo Vaccination at 6 weeks old. I do vaccinate my puppies because its more mainstream- altho I would love to go natural and feed raw and boost immunes naturaly.. just not so accepted here.
I don't have anything of value to add about this kennel. I hate seeing so much trashing on breeders, You would think it would be helping the "breed" by supporting eachother and teaching and mentoring.. not tearing eachother appart so that you can keep all the kudoes to yourself. If some one has wronged another , why not confront them instead of talking behind there backs like a bunch of teenagers.

When was that, Hans? CPV2, the most common strain of parvo, didn't appear until the late 70's.
