I kinda understand GSDguy,
At any rate I have an acquaintance here with a very large really beautiful male he brought here from Alaska and he had asked me if I knew anyone who bred them locally.
Around here I do not.
From a distance he looks like aTundra Wolf.
The summers here are hard on him, he has a much heavier coat than the ones in these pictures.

Hi Bob,
One thing that pops into my mind when I see that hat is snow and a sled team, and the Iditarod trail.

The Isle of Husky, sounds like a great place for a sopping adventure with the whole family!
Here in UConn country, home of the #1 Women's Basketball Team in the country, we name our Huskies, "Jonathan". Here's their story, and they mention his breeder in PA.

Thank you very much GSDguy. You have a very good looking bunch there. Yours look very well taken care of and obviously know where they have it good. No wonder they don't wander!
The one with the one jumping over the other is a gem of a shot!

Sorry Moons:
The only sled you will see me on in the winter says Skidoo!! I,m afraid PETA would come after me if I hitched a team of dogs to my buttocks. I,d need a pack of Rott,s to pull me around!!!
Sorry about hijacking the thread hope you find the Husky your looking for.

As a kid on the farm we would get a old hood of a car (63 impala) and hook it to a cow it worked for a while, that is you learn to get plenty of rope because of the exhaust (if you know what I mean). but it does work. Obviously we did not have Nintendo back then you had to use your imagination...
