I thought clubs had to submit bids showing they were interested in putting on the event.

Iowa is midwest, Texas South, the other two were Southeast.

Now it's up to the Executive Board to MAKE that decision for YOU! Is that what you want?

They do anyway. What is that thing you have to fill out when becoming a member??? Isn't it something saying you can not belong to another organization or something to that effect. If so then why makes you think you have any real say.

Anybody familiar with the map of the United States?
Grove City, Ohio is about as centrally located as Elko, NV.
I have a box of scorebooks that say that well-trained dogs track just fine in CA.
I'm trying to remember when the last time UScA elections were held in the Western US.

Mark, the Grassroots group is trying really hard to get enough people at the meeting to vote out the stupid amendment. That's why they are begging more people to go to Iowa. Unfortunately, that's 2000 miles from me and most of the people I know, so once again we are left out of the proceedings. I can't imagine some of our little poverty-stricken groups sending anyone that far.

I'm in NJ so i can't take a quick road trip there but i didn't renew my membership anyway. Unfortanutely they made me choose so i chose WDA because they listen to what people have to say. USA turned into a dictatorship, i would love to be a member of both as i once was. Being a member of both gave me the opportunity to meet a lot of people. See more trials etc. Oh well USA's loss. They lost A LOT of good people because of it. WDA is growing, which means USA is shrinking.

I am unable to renew my expired membership as I intend to retain membership with WDA.

Any changes in the works to fix that?

by eichenluft on 10 March 2010 - 04:03

Yes, there are changes in the works.  The changes necessary require a change in leadership, which will require people attending the meeting to vote for new leadership.  With new leadership, the amendment can be changed/disposed of, and the UScA can be "fixed" - it's been broken for a long time now.  The members always complain about it every year -  now is the time to get busy and do something about it.  Time for a change.
