Wow 4pack , you might want to check and make sure your dog is still there!

He is really gorgeous.

4pack, your dog is still there, because I surely wouldn't steal your dog or anyone else's dog. But I do understand what redsable means. The two dogs are so identical in appearence.

Lavk-9, ur dog looks nice also. I wouldn't consider a person that breeds one or two litters with decent lines, and than sells by word of mouth a byb. I woud consider that breeder a responsible hobby breeder. I'm not trying to start another thread, but just giving my opinion. I respect your opinion totally and would never argue with you because we think differently on that. Please understand that. But back to my original  post...Its strange you mention he reminds you of a  police dog you once knew. Was that anywhere near Fort Riley Kansas? The breeder of this dog (Demon) sold dogs to the police depts in that area where Demon came from. Isn't that an odd coincendent. LOL!!! Hopefully the girl and her boyfriend will be able to find his puppy registration and we can find out just what this dog is packing in his pedigree.

Elkoorr

Too me he looks like a DDR x Showline cross. DDR from the blocky head, shorter ears and short hocks. Showline hints in the front assembly, somewhat long pastern and coloring. Gorgeous boy!

Elkoorr, my thoughts exactly. This boy was so misunderstood.. He just needed a job to do instead of being crated all the time. He is so happy here. Gets along with my other dogs. ( Not cats) He is a dog that demands alot of attention. If he can't see one of us, he does bark. He just wants to be with us. He will stay right there with us step for step. If both my daughter and myself are out together, he doesn't know which he wants to be next to. He is constantly running back and forth between us. He just doesn't know what to do with all the attention.

Are you guys keeping him or looking for a good home for him?

by beetree on 26 February 2010 - 15:02

Oh, the poor guy, could he have a bit of separation anxiety? I had a dog like that. It took a while but after a good while it was manageable. He is a very good looking boy. I hope you find a good home for him... that is what you are doing, right? Sounds like he's got a piece of your heart already.

What I find interesting is my dogs come from the Kansas/Missouri area too but I know the breeder and your not describing him or the breeder who's stud dog, is father to both of my males above. Take a peek at Troll vom Haus Milinda. I find my dogs bare a striking resemblence to their grandfather as well as your dog.
