deleted thread - Page 2

Here's a thought.  Make people use their "real" names.  I hate it when someone posts MY NAME, which I openly use, WHILE THEY ARE HIDING BEHIND A FAKE ONE.  Such cowardice behavior.

" Long coat breeder thread deleted "

It was active,  and non abusive,  definitely not * off topic * and posters coming in under psuedo names were soon rumbled,  and outed.   Neither was it an old thread as it remained  top of the listings since it began.  

The thread with over 15,000 hits was removed from page two, it was already dead but it too is gone.

Perhaps everyone should hit the abuse button every time they don't care for something they read.

Much would be lost.

Sometimes this place can become so childish and immature, a place for personal vendettas, dog world politics, bored lifeless people who spend their time playing everyone for their own personal amusement.

Ya gotta love it wouldn't you say?

Ok, then you should've mentioned that specific thread.  Ask Oli in an email why it was deleted and see if you get a response.  As you can see from here, there are many, many name-calling, foul-language-filled OT threads that no one is surprised get deleted.  How did we know which thread you meant unless you said?

I didn't see the thread you mentioned, but on other boards I'm on, if accusations of abuse and death are made, or ANY accusation, they'd better be documented - either proven, or documented that an official, not a user name posting anonymously on the internet, an official, legal channel accusation has been made.  Those boards allow such accusations to be posted and don't delete them if, and only if, legitimate news sources and/or legal documents are quoted.  Why?  Because otherwise what's to prevent anyone coming on to the internet and saying someone did something horrible and it wouldn't be true?

Just saying that's often a reason why such accusing threads are deleted.  If the thread you're talking about quoted official sources of the alleged or proven abuse and the thread was deleted, I'd say that's fishy.

I'd call deleting threads an enforcement. It makes me wonder sometimes though if the one who keeps bringing up sock puppets isn't in fact the expert at it?

You're lying again.  No way - I never use the language you use.  Never.  I never call people the names you do.  Never.  Count up the posts I've made on OT subjects with the literally hundreds you've made and "just as guilty" - no way.  In addition, ALL violations of TOS should be reported.  ALL.  Mine as well if I make them.  I've always said that, Maggie.  It's just that you make so very, very, many more violations than anyone except one other person.
