Oh, Lord, Jim, that's just torture!!!:-)

Sounds like you lived my dream!  I'd love to be able to go and visit with Hans...His knowledge of the breed is pretty amazing, and while he doesn't sugarcoat anything (see "Your Dogs Are Too Fat!"), he makes his points with clear, concise, and non-insulting opinions that speak to his experience.

And the meal sounds like it was to die for!!!!  No one in my house understands my feelings about the GSD, but to visit a place like Han's kennels, to talk to him and enjoy a meal at his table, surrounded by GSDs...Sounds like paradise!  To me, anyway.

Hey Crys,
I was in Scottsdale for a cancer charity and had some free time and Hans was nice enough to see me.  We really enjoyed ourselves.  Don't worry soon enough your whole family will be crazy about GSD's.  How could they not love GSD's after having Oakley in the house?

Pack,

Jim

Jim you suck!  I don't like you anymore. We can't be friends. Hope you understand.

RS,
Pack made a nice comment, was that the wrong icon that I used.  I'm not so good with the whole icon thing so if you have any tips please let me know.  No, Pack is not Hans, no Pack wasn't there.  I was just trying to acknowledge a nice comment.  No need to read into my posts, there not that deep.
(was that the right one to use?)

LOL, that is a cute one.

I guess I am getting jaded and suspicious like everyone else on here.

4pack,
Was it something I said?  Ohhh, you didn't get the invite?  Damn, snail mail.  Of course you would have been welcome as well.  I'm going back to Scottsdale next year, should I email you the invite?

I hope your not going to hold this against me?

Vikram you such a douche bag, Hans been nothing but a breath of freash air on this board, and I would direct any one to talk to him before buying any dog. He was kind enough to help me understand and learn more about my female pedigree, he was very open minded and informative, I had no intention to buy anything from him, and he still was very honest and open minded in his opinion. Not too mention he knows more about dogs, training, and pedigree than some of us will learn in a lifetime, and his knowledge dose not come from Internet search and books like yours but actually doing something good for our breed, so keep your stupid immature comments to yourself. Or even better show us that pedigree of your supper tough dog, till than you just a joker nothing more to me and a lot of people on here.

Jim, you was indeed very lucky, I would love to visit and meet Hans in person one day. Thank you for giving us your report on your overall experience.

Hey Jim,

They like Oakley well enough..But they're not GSD crazy, like me!  They just don't get it...Remember my post a while back on "just a dog'?  To them, she's just a dog, like any other dog, and so they don't quite get that feeling we all get when we see our dogs or think about them...It's not the same.  If a specific breed isn't your passion, then you just don't get it, I guess.

She's a mighty special one, and someday, I hope we can get a tracking title...It would be pretty awesome if she could manage it.

Though of course, I'd love to have a chance to meet Hans sometime, along with a few others from this board...It's been an interesting stay here at the PDB!

Crys
