crhuerta if you don't register the dog with SV who cares? I know AKC allows it (they allow everything lol).

Since some of our dogs are registered with the SV breed registry,.... I was just pointing out a "possible problem" that one may have if they do the same.......?
I guess it would completely depend on the individual person's future plans with their dog......again, I'm not completely familiar with the "entire" SV stipulations.......that's why I suggested contacting the organizations themselves.
I would just hate to see someone have a "future" problem of any kind, simply by being "unaware".
I know that AKC allows quite a bit, when it pertains to "breeding's"......

darylehret, he will also do a live cover if I have a female to breed to him.  I'm not looking to buy a female and then breed her to Iltis, I'd kind of prefer either leasing or seeing if anyone would be willing to do a litter with Iltis at my expense as far as the health tests, stud fees, etc.  How would I go about finding someone willing to do that though?

I paid a stud fee in return for pick puppy with a friend's excellent female.

Better figure out a couple females you even like, first.  No sense bothering if "any female" will do.  Live cover or not, failure to receive an accurate progesterone test is not something to wish for.  You plan to raise the litter yourself?

Have you contacted Chip recently? I'd make sure to do that first, before planning any breeding to Wolf - I have heard he is completely out of breeding and out of touch with everyone - may be difficult to track him down let alone arrange breeding.  If you have, then good for you - nice looking dog.

darylehret that will be the hard part I'm sure.  Finding the right dog to breed to him.  I would be raising the litter.

Molly, the last time I was in contact was around two months ago. If I had a female then I could have done a breeding.....I haven't tried to contact since then though, so I definitely need to do that.

So the update is....He has no way of doing the frozen straws now, but he will do a live breeding if someone takes the female there.  No housing the female, so whoever goes there would have to stay at a hotel for a few days and bring the female there.

I have an Iltis daughter that is ready to whelp anyday.  These will be awesome puppies, sired by Boi Von Himmel Kamm.  They will be large boned, dark sable coled with super nerves and working drive. The litter will only have one line breeding 3-3 on Nero.
I too wanted more Iltis bloodlines and last year Chris from Ambush (Chip's friend in Idaho) told me the same thing. I'd have to take my female to Texas and rent a motel or something, then take my female to Wolf to breed.  He said Chip and Wolf were staying with a friend and they didn't even have a yard?   He said they were working for a police department.

So through the pdb I found a granddaughter of Iltis and a great grand daughter of Iltis to buy and breed.  Both are producing great puppies, bred to my K-9 bred, DDR stud dogs.

Rockin Nakita Von Haus Cimmerian (Iltis X Gibbet)
Dark sable, large boned, great temperament and crazy working drive.

Here is a 14 1/2 week old dark sable male puppy sired by Boi and out of Iltis Great Granddauther Nadia (Nadia is also Czech and line bred on Stormfron't Brawnson). Bube weighed 34.6 lbs at his Vet check this week.  He is growing so fast that I upped his vitamins and cottage cheese, but still am helping his ears that are going up and down during this growth spurt.

Bube and Boi.  Bube is learning that he can't take Boi's delicious, raw, organic, grass fed beef bone away.

Good GSD puppies are super easy to train, but Bube was born crate trained and potty trained.  He is going to the Tom Rose Academy for professional training next month with my friend Brad Fox who is going to school there to become a Master Trainer.
