WRONG!!!  UScA was using only AWDF scorebooks, then in August they created a USA only scorebook for alternate breeds that will list the breeds if they have proof of AKC registration.
Just take a look at the lower right hand corner of their scorebook application!!!!!!

From the USA scorebook application:

There are currently (2) different types of scorebooks
being offered through the USA Breed Book Office, they are as follows:

1.) AWDF/USA Scorebook-issued if you have a
GSD. Any other breed will be marked as
Mixed.
2.) USA ONLY Scorebook-issued if you have
any other purebred or mixed breed dog
wishing to compete USA trials only.

Thanks Judy, for providing the link!!

Mewoodjr-  I think you have a serious conflict of interest  and should refrain from commenting, unless you have some factual information on the matter at hand.

Yep what Paige said.

I think some member's who had alternate breeds that were not showing at other venues were upset. There was some discussion of it here if you look in the archives. The scorebooks that they are listing are only good at USA events and not other breed clubs.

I think they tried to compromise

Dogsthatwork... I have a serious conflict of intrest??? I am a USA member. I have GSD's. From what I checked out you are working Bulldogs. How is that related to USA and not a serious conflict of intrest???

This is getting about silly as the OT topics on Democrats vs. Republicans. I will go back to training now, and no I have nothing further to add to those critical of what the "organization" voted on.

I don't have GSDs either but the USA takes my money the same as everyone else's.

I've been a member of UScA for nine years.  I have owned and titled a GSD to SchH III, prior to losing her to Leukemia.
No, the GSD is not MY breed of choice, but as was stated above the UScA takes my money like everyone elses.

Better not knock those alternate breeds because I'd say a big portion of UScA's membership is just that!

Point is, UScA is counting the members with all breeds and using it for their basis for the number of WUSV votes.
They might need the alternate breed membership more and more, as it seems the GSD members in opposition to the Johanness amendment are leaving in droves!
