I haven't used the product myself, but I too realized that your question was not properly answered. Is 1/8th teaspoon the amount for any dog? Is it based on weight or "just a pinch should do it?" Be very wary of some of the info that you get on this site or any other for that matter. Also, take some on here with a grain of salt until you know their knowledge and experience level.

We just do the math. Take a look at the amounts of Gluc, Chon, MSM, HA, etc that are in the horse dose and reduce it. We give 1/10 the horse dose (adult GSD). The smartpak website has a very nice chart comparing all the joint supplements they sell for dogs and horses both so you can compare the dosage to comprable dog products and then figure your price per day. Their website even gives a short description of what all the ingredients are good for. And in case anyone is wondering, no, I don't work for smartpak, LOL! Hope that helps out. And do start with just a pinch. Some dogs stomachs are effected by it and some it doesn't even bother, but you probably know your dogs gut and how it usually reacts to changes.
