Two Moons

by Two Moons on 24 October 2009 - 03:10

Thanks Sue,
Every image does have a story, and that one I wasn't sure about.
It is a haunting image, and now that I know the story, I can feel what my eyes have seen.
Compassion is what I feel, and sadness.
We need both sadness and joy to be human, its healthy and natural.
Perhaps someone will change procedures because of this image.
But in a disaster, things happen.

Glad you posted the link.

Moons.

Thanks Moons.  We all need a reality check from time to time to remind us that our own little worlds that we wrap around us are fragile indeed.  We feel safe, most of us warm, well fed and free to move around and do as we please.  Very few of us ever suffer true tragedy so it is easy to push such images from our minds.  I like to think to myself what would I do in such circumstances?  Fail miserably I'm sure.  I've been too safe for too long.  We all have been, for the most part.  Good post Moons.
