Yes but soft tissue injury can not be seen on xray. Dislocated  femur ( after healing) and  torn ligaments can not be seen   on a x ray  and could cause dog to be displastic.
What I am saying is that in this case to problem is most likely envronmental.

Wow Prager you sound like my vet haha, the vet told me indeed that the most likely cause was that the ligament was torn and that caused the dislocation of his right hip, not that his femur is way out its just a litle bit but enough to cause artose( sorry dont know the excat english word)
But like i said he just turned 3 years old and hasn`t got any pain yet he can do everything.
He is a great dog but not a very great sportsdog though he can do it, but he will never be a number 1 dog, he loves working with the handler and he can do all kinds of sports but he will not be the greatest.
I`m busy working him for mondioring 1 now and he does a fine job, he should make it, and after that i will see what i will do with him.
But i would not allow him to breed because he also misses a P2, and there was some doubt about his back, last x-ray of his back showed everything was normal, so it was probably an infection, but for me this is to much probably`s.
I got a new young dog from Jinopo as a replacement wich i am very gratefull to them, his name is Landi z Morisvillu, and he has got no problem what so ever had him officially x-rayed and came back HDA and ED free he is from Atila z Kociciho Dvora and Zaklin Jipo Me a full sister of Reno and Rena Jipo Me but from a later litter, so working with him aswell and we are ready for VZH/BH so the next exam we are going for it, he has got much more preydrive then Kenai loves retrieving and is very fast.
Kenai is a great dog very Stabile and a great protector we tested him in full suite wich he never did because we trained IPO but he does bite  and he bites hard when he thinks there is trouble, so he is a great and truley german shepherd!

Wow nice you got replacment from them, the only thing that is better than haveing one dog from them is haveing two lol. He sounds like my female good all around dog but won't be the best sport dog, but can do anything you train her for. Good luck with your both dogs. Once again grate info from prager. Thanks a lot.
