i would give this dog a job.  he would be stationed at the foot of my bed.  god have mercy on any soul that attempted to come for me in the middle of the night.

awesome dog, but definately has some training issues.

I don't know what is so special about this dog?
I was not impressed at all.
At this age it should be at the top of its game, and yet there are several issues I see.

Fun video to watch. I am not so sure, however, that this is such a strong dog vs. a "fear forward" dog. He is pushy in the blind, but he seems to get really reactive to eye contact from the helper. Also, not many good grips, and worst of all for me, he comes off the sleeve in the attack out of the back transport. And everyone loves the "no out" which got him DQ'd... I'm sure he gets hundreds of breedings from this alone.

I saw him distracted several times, took two commands to out, very pushy at the blind if thats what you call it, and more than a few dirty bites.
And when I walk I have never like a dog crowding me, but this I see all the time in Shutzhund.
I am not saying the dogs no good, just saying I wasn't all that impressed is all.

LOVE that video, Moons!  He could teach the big guys a thing or two...

Of course, having Claudia as a trainer certainly didn't hurt. I think that lady could teach a goat to do schutzhund!

I just love to watch it,  Mr.Murphy charges full throttle, doesn't bump into Claudia as they move, seems very focused, and considering his size, jumps and holds on like he's all business.
You do see a couple of things not absolutely perfect, but its so much fun to watch.
Imagine if he weighed 80 pounds.

Yes a great trainer,
Moons.

What really makes me chuckle is the way his little tail keeps wagging, even when hanging off the sleeve, and during the bark and hold. And what a jump he has! Those legs must be spring-loaded!

This Russian dog is the bomb!

I smiled the whole time I was watching...

I think the crowd got him energized, too, he was having a blast and a time of his life, barely controlling himself. Even Lance Colling got a few chuckles and laughs out of him and the crowd went absolutely wild on the long bite.

This dog is in a wrong profession doing Schutzhund. He would be an absolutely AWESOME working Police K9. And he will bite for real, as we have seen it with the poor decoy being startled with the dog a few inches from his face.

The handler, or whoever owns him sghould sell him to a good, serious, professional Police or SWAT team K9 department. If the dog has any say in it, that would be his dream job. He is not a "points" or "sports" dog and I actualy have no clue how did he even get into WUSV, unless the Russian qualifiers were poorly attended with a few entrants so the dog did it just by showing up and trialing. I have no idea, how or why, but nevertheless, some great K9 police handler somewhere would have a great k9 partner on his side.
