Very nice essay, Kelly. It's always a pleasure to read your posts. You show an incredible amount of maturity and are a credit to your parents upbringing. May you have success in all that you endeavor.

Best producer, not sure what your asking.
What is it thats being produced?
Quantity, quality, work, conformation, or titles and awards?
Best producer of what in particular?
The female carries the history, the male just ads a page, thats my opinion.

So far it sounds a little generic, I think you should use some of your own personal thoughts and experiences in conclusion.
Also you might dig deeper into specifics of some of the great dogs history.
Records and details of the lives of a few known war dogs and K-9s, the dogs of Hollywood we've seen in the movies.
Ya gotta know who Jerry Lee is, there is an obscure movie called white dog.
I dunno, it just seems to need more meat and less potatoes.
I think your doing a fine job anyway, just trying to help.

Thanks for all the great info guys...If you would have just gotton to me sooner. lol. I had to turn it in this morning. I still will go back and fix these things. But for now I am on to the next essay. It is a personal essay so I am going to write about my experiences with getting my first workingline puppy. Then the next essay is going to be an argumentive essay. I cant wait for that one...Any ideas??

Kelly very good article. I would also like to add you said in Germany a dog could not reproduce without a ScH title---they also can have a German herding title--HGH...........

V Lorett vom Stadtfeld.... Dam/Granddam of many of the Stadtfeld "V" rated SchH III dogs (did a reverse Linebreeding check and there's over 50 "V" rated who trace back to linebreeding on her)
Esthera Van Tiekerhook foundation of Tiekerhook kennels...
But I'm far from an expert... these are just a few bitches that seem to be consistantly behind the GSD's I've liked.
