What a wonderful story, KellyJ. I'm so happy for you.
Last year at Thanksgiving time I sent a card to the breeder of my dog, because I am certainly most thankful for him, and for them - it was their love, their care, their knowledge, and their plain old hard work that produced the fantastic companion I have today.

Its good to hear that other people have had great experiences with their breeders. It seems like we always hear the bad stuff....

It is awesome hearing stories like this :-) I don't know you Kelly, but I know Steve and his story with Heidi. His breeder and mine are the same, and even though I didn't lose my dog, I feel the same way you do about my breeder.
There really are people out there who care not only about the breed, but about us as people.
To be honest I love my breeder so much that I won't post his name on here. I just call him "my breeder" because if anyone was to look at his name cross-ways I think I would come unglued LOL

Kelly, Yes the Ron and Karen are great people as I have got to know them quite well, They would never steer a client the wrong way. Our relationship started when we puchased Ghost which is a wonderful boy and after looking them up due to us purchasing him from another kennel and not getting info except for the breeders name on the AKC paperwork we searched and finally found them.
We have learned so much by just following their practices, Now we currently own Narys and your boy Car's mother Rena. What wonderful dogs they are and how much they helped when it was time to bring them here. I don't just consider them as our dogs old owneror breeder, but truely a great friend.
I had talked with Ron when he was setting up the new boy for you and was just blown away by their generousity. The first thing I thought was that they just did something that is unheard off.
Last year we had a client that also had the same thing happen as it did to you, And to hear the sadness in their voice I offered them a pup from the litter I had on grounds. It took them about 3 weeks to realize that this was a good thing and they have since sent pictures all the time and I feel that yes at the time we could have used the money but to see 3 childrens eyes lite up when I brought him out there for them made it all worth it.
Ron and Karen Rambo are wonderful people that just don't come around very often and its ashame they are out of the breeding business as they could really teach people what life is about as a breeder.
When you go out to the Rambo's make sure you give Leka a hug from Cathy and myself

haha Chuck...Leka wasnt having no part in a hug. I could barely touch her. She is such a serious girl! Not that she is mean or anything just not an affectionate dog. I think its so funny.

There are 3 Breeders who have touched my life forever.
The first is Lida Fleury of Whirling Thunder German Shepherds. I talk to her almost every day, and my male, Laser is a very nice boy. EVERYTHING that I want in a GERMAN SHEPHERD!
The 2 other breeders are Beatrice Lewald of Kennel Koenigsgarde, and Mandy Menzel of Kennel Rapicar, who are located in Germany.
I contacted Beatrice to see if she had a litter available, and told her what I was looking for. Beatrice speaks PERFECT English, and she contacted her friend Mandy, and told her what I was looking for. Beatrice and Mandy went out of their way for me, and I WILL NEVER forget their KINDNESS! Carla is a little wench who will be very good at OBED, and picks things up RIGHT AWAY!
These three persons I would ALWAYS go back to if I were looking for another German Shepherd!
