Help with essay for school on German Shepherds. - Page 2

KCzaja, I am not doing an essay, but can you scan it for me. I do not remember seeing that one. I have a book of the dogs that were their and the story on them, I do not remember that one, I will have to go back and look.

Kelly, you also have people on this board, who are k-9 police, search and rescue, and use their dogs in therapy and personal service dogs, I think also a few old soldiers who worked with war dogs. I am sure if you asked you could also include interviews with them.
You do realize you are writing about our favorite subject and we could turn your essay into a book.

I guess I would have to include

seing eye dogs since GSD (were the first),

german front line dogs during WW2,

bomb sniffing dogs at airports and other places,

dogs that worked 911,

Rin Tin Tin and other famous GSD in the movie world........

and your very own GSD and what he/she means to you...........

Thanks you guys they are all great ideas. My paper is really starting to come along.  Its really just an overview of the breed. I opened with talking about what the breed is known for ,and using my fav quote from Max. (Best at everything...second best ect...) Went into a description of the breed...Then temperment. Then I talked about their versitility and the use of GSD's in jobs around the world. And I sumed it up with how the breed is being destoyed by over breeding and the modern GSD is devoping behavoral/genetic issues and How some breeders are fighting to keep the breed the same as Max intended.

I still have alot to add but thanks to all of your help it coming along nicely.
