If you have a tree a tire with rope on bottom hung from tree is great fun they pull and bite ,see my 4 yr female avatar,she has been doing that since 8 weeks.she lives for it .

Princess: Yes brilliant idea , I too have had a long rope on a play jungle...have no human kids and it was hanging on this jungle when I purchased the property...I has been used by every litter and they find it and pull and pull and pull, growling and rying to pull it down....
I let my adults tackle it sometimes but without me on the other end they know it is a false pull and they say we want a human on the other end , please...cannot fool them
Also in the pvc you cut for the pups,,,you can stuff raw hamburger on occasion and watch them try to funagle it out of there.,.then be sure to wash pvc pipe toy in hot soapy water afterwards.

A Jolly Ball...you can fill it up with water which makes it wobble around when your dog pushes it...designed as a toy specifically for the herding breeds
