I have no opinion here.  What I have are facts!  I have done business with Mr. Rentz and I am more than happy with the dealings I have had with him.  I have found him to be honest almost to a fault and more than fair!  I have a great bit of respect for him and his business practices!

Everyone here who knows me knows I TELL IT LIKE I SEE IT!  Sometimes the points I bring don't benefit me at all but bring negative light upon myself or dogs in my kennel......for example the Ewo postings that I have made in the last week!  But with the Ewo postings I have at least taken the time to educate myself so that I can do the best thing possible!

I am a fan of NO ONE!  I don't even live close to Jeff nor have I ever trained with him, seen his work or been to his state!  I DO think Jeff Rentz is a good trainer and makes some nice carefully thought out breedings!

Your point CLEARLY WAS NOT to come here and ask other's experiences.......IT WAS to smear someone who you got nutty on!  Your post was not informational at all but full of crazy drama.........I can read between the lines in your RANT!

I did ask here.  Think you have misunderstood several things and as I said previously This is a public notice and I don't really need your opinion.  I unfortunately formed my own based on my own first hand experience.  If I had found this posting when I was investigating whether or not to use this trainer, I would have not used him.  Hence, it being a public notice.  Also, when I had great dealings that originated from the website I gushed great recommendations.  EG Bowien with Jeremiah and later Hanz (Uno)  with Andrea.  I let others know that my dealing with them were fantastic and I was happy.  Its not about being negative.  Its about being INFORMED!

You have never seen his work, been to his state or trained with him but you do think Rentz is a good traininer?  How is that? This would be an opinion, not a fact (and you stated you have facts, not opinions). Nonetheless, I have not had any dealings with this guy either, but I do agree with most others on who have posted... Why on earth did you drive your big SUV to NC when you have plenty of trainers in your own backyard?

Nice guys don't make you sign gag orders, nor threaten to kill your horses, last time I checked.

I did look in Texas, but the guy I normally use was way to busy and the club in my area only met once every few months.  I wasn't really limited by distance as our family is very nationally mobile.  By the time someone mentioned a TX trainer I had already started a reasonable communication with Rentz.
On a plus note, I think that there is a new club two hours from me that is going to meet every week which would be perfect.  I have just decided to finish this myself so it will have to be a club or personal trainer to work with me and hanz.  If anyone has any good recommendations about trainers willing to do private lessons or clubs that meet at least once a week south of San Antonio TX, please spill.

HardHit,

I have had business dealings with him....that is FACT.  I know him to be an upstanding individual and more than fair in our business dealings-----FACT!

Hurry up and post something so you can have 10 posts to your name......you have only posted a whole 7 times so what do you know about me, Jeff or wendy pool?

Wendy,

If you were just posting a "Public Notice" as you say then you would not have needed to put all the drama in as well!  Boo hoo....poor me, I had to get in my BIG SUV and drive sooo far!  Well, no one has any sympathy for you there......you obviously can afford a BIG GAS SUCKING POLUTING SUV and to PAY someone to title your IMPORTED dog (which frankly, you should do it YOURSELF!) but what is the old saying about a fool and their money???????  Besides, the fact that you would drive all the way to his place in North Carolina and you can't EMOTIONALLY deal with your dog being gone for training says something about your thinking processes!  There are also good trainers in Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas.......a little closer don't ya think?

Crazy way of thinking if you ask me!  But it is par for course for you!

You have already damaged yourself here in the past,,,,,just lucky for you most of the "old crew" who would remember the goofy crap about Amelia are gone!

Just a little sampling of her logic......too bad she deleted the original posts she made!

Wendy,

There is probably not a QUALITY trainer out there that would touch your dog with a 39 1/2 foot pole now!  You BASH one trainer in like you did here and no one is going to be eager to help you now.  The Schutzhund world is WAY TOO SMALL A SAND BOX TO BE THORWING SAND!  You don't think word gets around as to who to train and who not?  Keep lightin those fires though.............

Already on the defensive?  I never said anything bad about you.  I've been around on this board for past 6 months. I just merely pointed something out.  This board is about 90% drama, which why I do not post really. good day.

Vickie,

You took the words right out of my mouth!!   The schutzhund community is a very, very small community and there are very few secrets in it.  One of the good things about all the drama-rama posts on this board, is that they really give people a "head's up" about who might be coming their way to train.

I do  recall the Amelia saga.     btw--NO, you are not being negative by reminding people about that other sorry tale.

SSDD <sigh>

Oh!!!!! I just figured out why she had to go to North Carolina to get her dog trained!..........How dumb of me, she has already shown her ass in Texas.  The trainers close to her KNOW she is a nut!!!

It's not ok to go around accusing someone of poisoning your dog!  That's why Jeff wanted you to sign saying you were receiving the dog in good health!  WHICH IT WAS!  Making accusations like that is naughty!
