If you do feed kibble feed it at night after a few hour break from raw. As they said keep it separated.
I have a search and rescue male that is high energy that is fed raw twice a day and kibble at night only if needed for a few days, just to keep good weight on him, so this is like maybe 1 week out of the month. If kibble is not needed then he only eats the raw twice a day.
My puppy is fed raw three times a day and I swear eats 3 times the amount of my male. I tried the kibble thing that I do with my male and it just makes me nervous to do it.
I do know of people that add sardines and green tripe to their dogs food before trialing then strict kibble when they are done. That's about it.
No expert in feeding just letting you know what I do.

Every dog is different
Some tolerate raw, some tolerate grain free kibble, some tolerate Ole' Roy with corn and by products.
Two of my dogs get sick from raw, another two cannot tolerate grain products.
You have do experiment to see what your dog does best on and go with it.

It is all confusing to say the least! I had Halo on a raw diet of chicken leg quarters , thighs, smoked turkey necks, chicken feet 'and various other soft internal organs ! Her stools were small and very firm . Then a trainer told me to get back on kibble and well now the stools are mushy and stinky! I think I will go back to raw and only use kibble as a supplement! Her coat s duller and stools can not even be picked up when walking . I need a Julie Child cookbook for raw feeding ! My concern were the bones in raw but I have been told they are OK as long as they are not cooked or weight bearing bones! After all when do you see dogs cooking their dinner?
