I must agree with Most of the answers in this thread, Sorry to say  me  as a German would NOT go for what gsluvver decribes above, even thou I speak the language, as they say there are breeders here in the US with excellent dogs where you can see what you get for the money you want to spend.
Once you have the dog from overthere and it is NOT what you wanted or there is something wrong with this dog there is no return or money back . Please listen to the suggestions are given to you here on this thread.

I em not saying that Breeders fom overthere are bad or ripoffs but purchasing a live animal on line is taken a big risk.

Well, most of what is said seems to be ok. The only assumption that wont sit with me is, "why get rooked in Germany", "sounds like a gamble"........ 5000$ for a pregnant titelt female does sound quite ok to me moneywise. Of course it would have to be proven upfront that what is claimed, is legitimit. If all that, hipps& ellbows, BH,AD,SchH1 and Koerung are in, and the female is on top pregnant with a nice male, it is actually a pretty good deal. Since the original poster stated that the price also include shipping, it is actually cheap.  I am saying this just in regards to the price, I dont know the seller, I dont know the female.

A mayor part when it comes to buying a dog, is trust. And at that, it does not matter in what country you buy ....... YR, you know about all the different dramas happening right there in the US, so to assume, just because you buy in the US, that you are not getting taken, is quite a thin line to walk on. The laguage barrier is the hardest to overcome, there is sometimes a funny outcome when you use an online translater. In generel, the best for you to do is using a trustworthy person, who is willing to translate for both. It might be hard to find such a person, but it can be done. Anyways, if there is anything, and this counts for all deals, that throws you off or that you are not completly satisfied with, dont do it.

Yep, delacruz, it is always better to see with your own eyes what you are buying, but it may not always be possible. I doubt, that many would travel from CA to SC, just to take a look. So even there, you will have to trust the seller for representing the dog correctly.

Regards Ulli
