I know a lady who lives on a farm. She noticed a place on her hand that she thought looked like a spider bite. Long-story short, her hand started to swell; she went to ER about 4 days after swelling started. The disease had progressed significantly - - she had to have her arm amputated. Steve, you have been very lucky.

I've been on a farm all of my life too, drank raw milk, with ecoli and everything else in it I'm sure, eaten raw eggs, you name it. Alot has to do with our immune system and how strong it is, me thinks.
