Yup, but in my view, it is easy to confine it to one thread.
The General Topic was made for all dog breeds, while the GSD was supposed to be for GSD related entries.
It didn't mean general topic of USA politics.
I can just see a labrador owner needing some advice on a kennel construction or a medical dog related question coming here, viewing the political ranting on the threads and leaving without posting.
Maybe just one OT US politics thread would be sufficient.

No, moons - I may own german shepherds, but I enjoy engaging with owners of different breeds of dogs, too - that is what this part of the forum is for.
This is for general dog topics - the other is for German Shepherd related topics....
