At this point, I am willing to accept the sobriquet "reputable" for any breeder that is not a BYB, does not sell overpriced crap (or non-crap) to the unsuspecting public, does not engage in questionable business practices with respect to puppy sales, (including withholding information about known health issues), is honest in their dealings with the public, clubs, fellow competitors, dye their dogs for shows, falsify pedigrees and/or sale documents, obtains titles and health clearances (eg., OFA0, etc. I don't disagree that saving the health certificate costs isn't exactly kosher.
I am just saying that there are breeders, perhaps more approriately described as "otherwise reputable," that have their own executed health certificates.

Our progress now has the support and investigating power of the Wash Dept of Agriculture, The Humane Society of Wa, Thruston Co Sheriff, 2 lawyers, 17 former employees and 43 pissed off customers seeking damages, refunds, compensation or just plain 'ol justice for animal abuse, illegal business and employment practces, violations of the consumer affairs act.
IT"S ABOUT TIME you got somebody to listen, to stop this abuse!

I feel awful for the legitimate breeder and buyer, most of al the pup, who had a pup shipped in a plane exposed to parvo.

I used to work at a vet clinic where we had a whole litter of pups from Kraftwerk in isolation because of Parvo. They very VERY sick little guys and some recovered and were ok'ed to leave but a couple needed more time under vet care. They were still vomiting and having diarrhea and were not eating and were running fevers. Wayne took them out of isolation against the doctor's recommendations. It was a very sad thing to watch and I took care of them everyday. I even offered to take on all the expenses (the bill was somewhere around what he was selling the pup for) if they would let me keep one of the pups so she could recover fully. I was told no because she already had a home. So either that family ended up having to choose a new pup because she died, or they were sent a sick puppy that will forever have a weak immune system. We only got to help care for ONE litter of pups, there were many more that were being cared for by using sub-Q fluids and oral antibiotics. The ones that I actually saw were definately the lucky ones. This place needs to be shut down.
