Thinking of you guys with all the positive thoughts I can muster up! Let us know what today brings.

My dog had an intestinal blockage not long ago with similar symptoms, vomiting, very limited stools for the 2 days prior, restless, grey gums. Of course I thought bloat. X-rays showed what was interpreted as "a lot of stool volume in there" and a mass which "might be gas or something that doesn't X-ray".
He got an enema and had a bowel movement withn 1/2 hour. His stool was full of very small pieces of rocks, like crushed gravel, and a lot of grass. Apparently he had been eating dirt in the hope of soothing his belly ache. But that didn't account for the unknown mass so they gave him a laxative which I fed him twice daily.
A day later out comes this tightly compacted stuff, looked like dried grass or Excelsior wood wool. I cleaned it up (yeah, I am a little weird) and it turned out to be the stuffing from a water buffalo hide tug toy. It probably was hair. Buffalo hair, horse hair, something like that.
I opted not to do the barium X-ray because I've heard horror stories of barium solidifying in the gut. The dog wasn't in any immediate danger and so I went with the laxative.
SitasMom, I send you good thoughts and hope for an easy outcome.

Trying to hurry things up is not the best idea.

Sending you many well wishes. That sounds quite scary, and yes I was thinking bloat as I read it. I'm glad you went to the vet. Good luck and keep us posted.

no stomach bloat, but lots and lots of gas in her gut. She is quite as active as usual this morning. I am going to my regular vet with the 2 sets of xrays and we'll see what he says.
I fell asleep on duty...........only 2 hours of sleep in 36 just isn't enough any more.
This morning, i do notice that her belly doesn't seem as thick and is tucking more like usual. I went outside to check and didn't see any unusual poops. Couldn't tell hers from the other dogs'.
Thank you for all your prayers. I'll keep everyone posted

Glad she seems to be feeling better.

Hopefully you have a big poop in your yard! If not, take her to the best facility you have in your area. Believe me, it does not pay to skimp here. It may cost a little more money, but it will be worth it in the long run. Call around several vet offices and ask where they would recommend a surgery center. They will have the proper equipment in the event of difficulties. Good Luck!

LD87, I totally agree. Don't skimp on the vet care, it doesn't pay in the long run. I read your other thread. I'm sorry to hear of your troubles.

Waiting on pins and needles to hear how things are going. Hope you get an answer from your vet soon and let us know! We're all with you in thoughts and prayers.
