just been told there are 2 cases of swine flu in Springtown, which is about 8 miles from where we live.

Sitasmom, I was thinking of diseases where there where no cures, like plagues, etc. in human history.  The avian pandemic of 1918 everyone keeps talking about, the percentages used could still be staggering. What is "scarey" is that while they call this swine flu, it is unique in that it has avian flu, swine, and human flu virus that have contributed to the mutation. I do believe that this is a first, and therefore an unknown. This is why the scare has potential to be so lethal. Wash your hands folks, and cover your mouths.

More people die in America a year from regular influenza. Its all a bunch of media BS. I wonder what they're trying to distract us from.
