I do not think I ever saw where she said she was going to sell Bella
There was a specific post - at LEAST one, where she said that she may have to give her up; it might have been the she's-jumping-on-me thread. I can't remember exactly the words; if anyone saved the thread it's definitely there, but I didn't even know the parties involved and it was pretty definite that the dog was a problem for her due to the jumping. I'm not saying she MEANT it, but she can't deny that she said it.

Yes I remember that thread. I have been reading on Bella as she was growing up ..I belieave triodegirl worked through that issue with Bella and the jumping was now under control . I still think triodegirl was here always asking for sugestions and advice as most of us do .... Pups are hard to live with for some time while they are growing up , anyone who says different is not quite being honest about it . That don't mean we thow in the towel . She asked advice and apparently got the jumping under control .. Not all dogs are hard dogs as far as protection goes , no matter what the bloodlines . The pup is still young she needs to wait Bella out and let her bloom .

i'm a bit confused - why are you pissed?
you said you wanted a tough male; and you said bella wasn't tough: and you said you thought her softer temp had to do with her long coat, implying you don't favor her coated .... you've said a number of things that painted a picture to most here that bella is not your dream dog. so lucky you bella's breeder stepped up and offered to give you a full refund - pretty much unheard of offer - and you're pissed???? i'm confused it seems very generous of the breeder hardly a knock on the dog infact it implies just the opposite that the breeder values the dogs she breeds.
i just don't understand why you don't stop fighting and either return bella or start reassuring the breeder that you will love and care for bella for her entire life, you will give bella the training and care she requires because you always have bella's best interest at heart, and that you will give her the best possible home; instead of continuing this yo-yoing and making not so veiled threats to sell bella - you're causing your own grief and helping give buyers a really bad name to boot.

Personally I feel sorry for Bella - she should be returned to the breeder who cares about her, and you triodegirl should stop whining. You should feel lucky that Silbersee would be willing to take her back, especially after a year has gone by. People like you are never satisfied - GIVE HER BACK and give her a chance at a decent life with someone who appreciates her.

Triodegirl, what you really need is somebody to love, don't you? Gosh, I still love the Beatles!

i dont see why you keep saying she doest want you to keep her because you are a organ recipient.she simply said in a responsible tone that if she had known the whole story she would have matched you with another dog.she never said she would not have sold you a dog because of it.give it up and celebrate your second chance at life.i believe sibersee still wants the best for you and the dog.you keep making her offering into this drama.

Good advice RLHAR. Triodegirl did say she was going to sell Bella, which prompted several people to offer to help to pay to return Bella back to her breeder. Triodegirl said she wanted a harder male dog, was going to sell Bella, and the breeder offered to buy her back at full price. This is a win win situation for Triodegirl and Bella. This is a sad situation and it is even worse that it is being posted on this thread over and over again keeping the scab open for both parties as well as other members of this board who are frustrated and want what is best for the dog. Triodegirl in one thread you asked me to stay out of this and said your were going to be emailing the breeder. I naturally took that to mean you were going to try and work things out with the breeder to have a positive outcome for everyone. Now I read this thread and am even more unhappy that this is just dragging out making everyone upset and unhappy. You can change this around, read how I did in a similar situation that ended with a happy ending.
I purchased a male pup from the breeder of my now 2 year old female. He started moving strangely in his back end. I started sharing my concerns with the breeder who felt like I was accusing her of selling me a poor/substandard dog. We were both emotionally tied to the pup and both loved every inch of him. Heated conversations began out of frustrations, misunderstandings, I even felt like I was accused of doing something to over work or stimulate the pup causing his issues. In the end the pup was diagnosed with severe HD in both hips and we decided together to do the best thing for him and he was put to sleep because he would Never have a normal painfree life. It was HORRIBLE equally for both of us. In the end we worked together for what was best for the pup, not us. We wanted to try surgery, rehab, etc. but it was recommended by the Vet to put him to sleep as he would suffer greatly. Under the contract I could recieve a refund or pick a replacement puppy. I ended up picking out a replacement puppy who is now 10 months old. She is the half sister to my 2 year old female and she is fabulous, the breeder and I are friends and she has helped me train both my girls. I had back surgery in December and was flat on my backside for sometime. The breeder took my older female home with her and worked her while I was unable to. I still have to wear a back brace & bone growth stimulator so the breeder is still doing her protection work and harder stuff but my girl is home with me and I am now able to do the easier stuff with her. The pup is a little less obedient than I would like due to my inablility to work with her during her earlier months but I choose to keep her here where she could bond with me, my smaller dogs and cats. I try to have extra patience with her knowing it is not her fault. She is smart and will catch up quickly with patience and love.
I still think of Chip and get sad every once in a while because he didn't have the ability to grow and be the dog I wanted and dreamed he would be. I feel bad for my new pup who didn't get the best start due to my medical needs. But I know both the breeder and myself did the best thing for him, putting our wishes and desires aside because God knows we didn't WANT to put him to sleep. We don't believe the new pup will have any long lasting issues from getting a late start on her obedience, we meet weekly to work together on the girls. Finding a breeder who cares abo

I did not see her say anything about selling Bella, Just she had a empty crate . Please show me where she said she was selling Bella . She said she wanted a hard male ,two different things . I think everyone jumped to the conclusion she was selling Bella . Her health should be of no concern to any of us .Yes Bella as a pup was a jumper she worked past that . I think she wants Bella and a trained dog to avoid the puppy jumping and training .Bypass that part of a raising a dog . Darn Its not like she is dying , if she can afford three dogs its her business . Please show me where she said she was selling Bella .

Teri, do you think your breeder would train Bella for me? I'd really like to get her started in Schutzhund. Where are you located?
Sorry to hear about Chip. My first boy had severe HD. I opted for treatment (experimental at the time) and spent every last penny I had keeping him going for 11 years. The love and dedication that dog gave me in return pales in comparison to what I spent and would do it again in a heart beat.

wuzzup, there is no jumping to conclusions. It was in writing from triodegirl, in the thread that has since been deleted. She definitely said it when the jumping was an issue, plus Teri is right: after that issue, in that deleted thread, triodegirl specifically stated that she was putting Bella up for sale. I read it and I'm sure many on here read it also. When she said she "would be putting her up for sale in a few weeks" - I think they were her words - that's when people jumped in and said why would you sell her when the breeder will refund your money 100%? Then trio said she was going to keep her forever and wouldn't sell her and she was getting better and tougher and all kinds of other stuff. But yes, she definitely said specifically she would put the dog up for sale.
