My goal is to get a BH on my female in September.  She will be 15 months in June.  My 3 month old boy - train, train, train,  play, play , play,  focus, focus, focus.

My goal for my female isn't as strong as it is for my boy.

His game plan will consist of

1.  Basic ob -

2.  Manners - not nice to grab the ladies skirts and rip them off of them.  Already done that to several - as well as biting any body part he can get a hold of....

3.  Learn when it is ok to bite

4.  Focus

5.  Play, play, play

6.  Socialize

7.  Track everyday.

bh at 15 month, 20 months sch1  21 months sch 2  sch 3 at 22 months...I do wish this on my female - but she isn't a high drive dog - I would love to get at least a sch 1 on her at 20 months - I think she can do it - but she will have to get a little more mature for the bite work - if the helper was a squirell - I wouldn't have anything to worry about.....lol

Since my last two attempts at breeding failed I have no new puppy this year. *tear*

I would like to finally pop out that CDX on my oldest, and get her RE as well. She's creeping up on 8, so I'll count my lucky stars if I can get that CDX ina reasonable amount of trials.

My second oldest, I want her RE, and I'd really like to see her get a VCD1/UDT. Lemme tell ya, tracking a nearly 7 year old dog who has next to no experience is NOT easy, but I'm sure I'll learn from it! Gonna cross my fingers that I get some easy novice agility courses, because at her age she isnt going to learn to do anything but run on my left.

My biggest project is helping my daughter with her young bitch. They have big plans this year that I don't want to jinx, so I'll let you guys know as she attains them.

I also have a secret project- I may be getting myself my first non gsd in years, and you all are gonna laugh your butts off when you see what it is.

BH for Eriel in June.  We did the AD 2 weeks ago and I'm really on the fence if I want to go for Sch1 this year or wait till next year to do 1-2-3.  She's only 18 months now and it just seems like I'd be rushing & she's to young.  We have a lot of work to do in tracking and reteiving so I guess I'll see how the progress goes & just trust that I'll know when we are ready.

Foundation, play, socialization and more play for Neon, she'll be 4 months old this Saturday

Learn to work with my new boy and go to some trials with him.

Keep playing with Ccatti for fun.  Use her at our club as a helper teacher, BH filler, and distraction dog whenever needed.

Work Boa more and maybe try for her BH later in the summer.

Get out trail riding and camping a couple times with my mules.

I've seen clubs write on their boards what every members goals are and I think this is a great idea.  As a club, you have to be a club.  Knowing the goals of others helps everyone.

Don, this is a great idea and one I would like to see our club begin to do.

This is a timely discussion - I'm currently revisiting my training goals from this winter's training. My overall long term goal for this year is for Jax & I to attain our SchH I at our Fall seminar. In order to get there, however, we have quite a few short term goals that we need to continue working on over this spring/summer - the biggie one being control on the field during protection and capping drive (the much needed "off" switch we are working on) during this phase Jax has been quite the working line gal for me to learn how to work with, particularly with my being relatively new to the sport. If we are ready, we'll be ready to try...if not, then there's always the next trial!

Get my ass out tracking more !

Put the Bh on Layla in the fall, then Sch A by end of the year.  Save the actual titles for next year, when she'll be two.

Track, track, track and try for a FH on the Sch 3 male.  He's 10+ and has a constricted muscle in his rear leg (which is what led to his retirement), so who knows.   He wants to work and I don't want to just leave him at home.

Support Tina in trialing with her new boy.

Cheer on  and support club members, especially  those that are so giving of themselves for the club and its members.

Get a new frigging vehicle, so I can get haul  dog crates and equipment .

Try not to "pop off" at the very, very few club members whose self-absorption and/or sheer idiocy annoys me.

Be more  demonstratively /verbally APPRECIATIVE of the wonderful club members (both clubs) and their support.

Kathy!  Airedale???
