I really am mad, I sold an entire female to a Local Government Parks Constabulary as a licensed police dog, over the week I recieved a call from the handler, who asked as a known breeder of working dogs could I assist him to sell a litter of pups, I asked who was the dam, he replied your female you sold us, I said is she hip scored and elbow screened, to which he said "No", I said which male did you use. He then told me that they had used a male on his section, who I know they have NO PAPERS for, I said was he hip scored and elbow screened to which he said "I did not ring you for you to whine, I thought you could help me." After I collected my temper I said that if he had been responsible for the x rays , screening and used a dog of known parentage with likewise health screening I would be only too glad to help, but he was most indignant. I will not be selling entire females to any more police department unless they take an undertaking to do all the screening I take for granted. I am more than happy to give the details of this parks constabulary by pm if anyone wants to avoid the same for them within the East of England.

Perhaps this dog section would be best purchasing a Doctor Who Tardis to take them back to the 1960's when this sort of bad breeding was common place, I am really thinking hard about giving up breeding,

The problem is a human one.

I will breed this year, and I have no problem placing pups with good homes.

I am not a commercial breeder, I'm not the one producing hundreds of pups each year.

I have no problem putting down animals either.

I would empty your shelters.

I have in a retired police dog right now, 8 yrs old, apprehension and narc certified, that was going to be put down, thank goodnes the original handler found me instead. He is the most awesome dog, he was not neutered of course, Czech bloodlines, but papers are lost, he wanted a pup from him at a later date, well, he got neutered as soon as he came into rescue...

I understand where you are coming from, I also had a breeder contact me recently, and they advertise on here, to help them place an 8 month old black female that the people were having trouble with...I told them to reintroduce into their own pack, retrain her and adopt her out...they didn't think she would fit in with their other bitches....AND THEY ARE BREEDING THESE DOGS....GO FIGURE...

Well I am really fed up now, I looked on E PUPZ and this Council Police officer is only advertsing these pups for £500, with no papers from Non screened parents. This is what I charge for pups from Working qualified parents who are fully screened and UK KC Registered, in fact this is what I charged for my last litter from a male I travelled to Holland to use on my IPO 3 female. I am really disgusted this is allowed. 

I am so angry that I do not know what to do next
