A vote for both Hallmark and Elite.  Both have great customer service and if the order is received by a decent hour both usually ship the same day.  I  tend to buy tugs, balls, helper gear and other schutzhund specific equipment from Hallmark.  I think they carry better sleeves, tugs and helper clothing than Elite.  Elite has a lot of products that Hallmark doesn't carry, military style crates, crate covers, law enforcement oriented equipment and they have awesome leashes made of this stuff called ASAT.  I've replaced every leash I own with ASAT.  I've got 2 15'x1/2" lines for tracking training, a 33'x1/2" for trial tracking, a waist lead for trials, tabs, drag leashes and several others.  I love the stuff.  I purposely left one in the bed of my truck all last summer (I mean every day, the entire summer - in the open bed of a black pickup) and a little Simple Green in the fall and it was like new.  That was a lot of heat and UV it soaked up and it came through with flying colors.  I don't recommend it only or protection training as it is too tacky/grippy for me.  For protection buy the flat nylon tubular lines from Hallmark.

Hallmark or EliteK-9.  Ray Allen has good stuff but it's expensive.

My young male went right through a cotton web lead; just took off for a tug and broke the brand new lead. He did have a harness on at the time. I like the harnesses with multiple points of adjustment, so that as the dog grows the harness still fits. I use Ray Allen's bungee cord now instead of a cotton lead. If you are doing drive or bite work, you want something that won't break. Just a suggestion.

I like:
Hallmark, Elitek9, DogSportGear, ForDogTrainers (all mentioned above).

I ALSO like:

Dethyse   http://www.dethyse.com/
ItBiteZ   http://www.itbitez.net/servlet/StoreFront
FullGripGear   http://www.fullgripgear.com/leatherleads.html  (really butter soft leather one piece trial leads.  They will make them in any length or style you want.  Also they have a lot of great stuff)

I have been very favorably impressed and well taken care of by all the mail order companies I have utilized for schutzhund equipment.

If you have any  contacts with the police it is best- they get theirs in bulk and prices are whole sale. Otherwise go to the Schwericht site and order on line.

Hello Mathaus, here in the US the Police K9 units don't get there equipment wholesale or in bulk.  At least my dept and neighborhing agencies don't.  We buy from Hallmark K9 and Ray Allen for our K-9 equipment.  I actually got my PD to start buying from Jim at Hallmark.  There are some things he doesn't have for Police K-9 use.  For example, I just got a ballistic vest for my K9 from Ray Allen, Hallmark doesn't carry those.  Our sleeves, covers, toys, tugs, long lines, muzzles come from Hallmark.  Full bite suits come from other vendors.

I always give plugs for fullgripgear.com. They can make almost anything you need. Prime eample my fastners/clips  that connect the shoulder straps to the front of the bib for my Schweikert pants broke. Schwikert would not sell me a new one, the Schweikert distriutors where like let me see what I can do....not a peep from any of them...Pissed me off actually. Bill Forbes at fullgrip made me two for less than $10.

Use to like to get items or Brands that were not regular seen in the US...would buy from Europe...but now I try to buy from  the vendors that support dogsports ie ..USA, DVG, PSA,...ect....Ray Allen & Singature K9 make all their stuff here in the US.

We have been doing business with Pierre for many years now. I have had one of his bite suits,2 sleeves, tugs, and all of his equipment is long lasting and super durable! You can read his info on the link below. As well here is a link to his SchH begiinner set! It works really well. One of his medium sleeves I have had for nearly 13 years now! If any problem in the quality call him and he will fix the problem! He is very personable unlike many other companies out there.
