to schHbabe i think you should read the breed standard then go look at a video of zamp and equate what you see to the standard and maybe just maybe you will realise that what you see is as near perfect as you are going to get, this dog has nothing more to prove he is a great producer and a great dog with owners who love him dearly.

When it is said to be the ultimate German Shepherd, In what relation are we talking about, a Showline or a Working line, that should be made clear, Now if he wins the big shows and the WUSV then yes, it is the ultimate German Shepherd
For there are great Show Dogs and great Working Dogs, i have not seen one of both or is it this dog
But whatever he is it is a grand looking Dog

A great article and an amazing dog.  I had the good fortune of giving him a cuddle at Crufts, he's just as beautiful in the flesh and was not at all fazed by all the attention.

I asked a couple of questions i have said nothing wrong about the dog, i have no idea of what the dog has or has not done, If it is a showline then i know nothing about them, If he is a working line then i have never heard of him,  
So if you feel i have said something wrong because i have not jumped on the bandwagon excluding my praises of him then answer my questions, as i said he is a grand looking dog
 And i do hope Videx is not calling me Pathetic just for asking a couple of questiions, for if he is then let him stand in front of me and say it, then we will see if i am or not, for he is out of order

No i am not interested in showlines but as i said in another post sometime ago i did appreciate the work people put into the conditioning and the work in preparation to show them,
It is the same with Pigeons you have the Show pigeons and you have the Working pigeons mine are the working type and you can equate both of these as to the Working shepherd and the Show Shepherd it is a preferance of a person but i do like to see the show dogs and full praise to the owners of them but they are not for me the same a i appreciate thework a fancier does to get the condition on a show pigeon, but they too are not for me
As regards Videx's remarks i did pass it off as not refering to my post until you replied to me, then i thought 'Hey Up' Pathetic am i, i think not

 steve1: I was clearly NOT referring to you as "pathetic" in my earlier post, HOWEVER, let me make it very clear, your implied threat of physical violence is much worse than being PATHETIC. If such a scenario came about, of me standing in front of you and calling you pathetic, your implied reaction would substantially alter the rest of your life, believe me! 

I try to post articles and information on this board which may have general interest, with posts such as yours steve1, is it any wonder why most people in the GSD fraternity will not post anything on this message board?

I will now certainly sunstantially reduce my input on this board.
