nope, I hadn't seen 15 in almost 15 years.
why do peope insist on making the gsd into something it isn't. if you want a big, 120-130 lb manstopper, get a rottie or fila.
and not everyone is 6'4 and 260+ lbs.

JMO, big dogs physically wear down quicker. not really talking about stamina, but age. It is generally accepted knowledge that the bigger the dog, the quicker it ages and wears down.

"Can it do - in an exemplary way - the complicated work which I'm using as an evaluation tool?"
If a bigger than average dog can do it - why not?
If a smaller than average dog can do it - great.
I think the standard should be changed to allow for ALL variation that isn't non-essential within the breed.
Things like rules about ears, color, size, coat length, etc... are all silly to me.
BUT - that being said, I don't like the attitude that --->
"I am free to ignore the standard because I'm me - and as me - I make my own standard"....that type of thing seems egoistic to me.
GSD lovers as a whole should periodically change the standard to reflect the changing needs of the work of the breed.
That being said, people should play by the rules - otherwise they are sort of like criminals - flouting socieities rules because they don't feel rules should apply to themselves.
