a loss of one at any age is hard but when they are young it is hard to wrap you mind around it. Verry sorry for your loss.

Steve I am so sorry, I had not read anything on the PDB. I too lost my old girl on 1/26/09. It takes a long time to feel normal again.... Your little girl was so cute and her pics always brought a smile to our face.

Steve,

I am so sorry about Heidi.  I was shocked and saddened when I heard the news and I, like many of us here, only knew her through the pictures and the updates you shared with us.

She was a very loved puppy indeed, anyone could see your pride in her and though it's hard, I believe you would have done nothing less than make the right call for her and for her happiness.

Like a number of others, I don't know what happened to your girl but you have my deepest sympathies - I know how difficult it is to lose them at any age and just losing not one but two of mine in exactly a month, I can relate to how much this hurts. Treasure the memories that the two of you made.... You're in my thoughts

Steve -

I am so sorry to hear about Heidi.  Like everyone else - I had no idea anything happened to her.  I always enjoyed the updates and photos of her and looked forward to your posts.  I even showed them to my husband because she was just so photogenic.

My deepest sympathy and hopefully you'll open your heart again this year when the time is right.

Steve, I hope you know when I said 'just wrong', I was speaking to the unfairness of something so young & beautiful having such a short time. I don't know what happened, & I am sure you did right by your girl, & am so glad you held her on her way to the Bridge. No need for you to feel guilty. Sincere condolences, jh

I am so very sorry, I can't say more, but ony express what I feel. So sorry about the terrible loss.
Saying, Oh, you'll get a new pup, blah, blah blah is not relevant and is not helping. That's the ast thing I;d want somebody to say to me, if I lost a pup that was loved, nurtured and cherished as yours was. However, with time, you will cope with your loss and will be able to move on.

There are not coincidences in this world, they don't exist, everything happens for a reason. Heh, but what the reasons are here, we don't know, they may ccome to ight to you in the future.

"Stick" to the pure truth, the pup was loved, cherished, nurtured, respected, trained, played with and parted ways with you too soon and she will be sorely missed and will be remembered with fondness whie replaying every little detail she did in your head and you will smile later on remembering her little mischivious things only puppies can come up with...

Again sorry man.
