just because a dog is flaming red does not mean it has good pigment. alot of people assume a red dog is a sign of good pigment it is not.

It's a paled out black / gold. By the way, you do know, dont you? that to be a sable, at least one parent must also be sable.

Sables with faded pigment and B&T with faded pigment can look very similar.
For instance, my bitch is a faded B&T, as would be obvious if you saw her puppy pictures:



Star of Hope at 1 1/2 years, 14 weeks, and approximately 8 weeks.
