nice picture. but notice how he looks nothing like what is being bred today except for maybe the working line dogs.

and his color is typical of the rin tin tin dogs, which of course started out from imported dogs like this one.

It looks like a big substantial in size male German shepherd .Almost looks like a cream colored sable. I like it. (the dog I mean).

Rin Tin Tin was darker in coloring then the dog with the soldier. All three dogs look substantial in size . I guess they fed their dogs well . Very interesting photos.
