These are a couple of 4 week old pups, that are out of a black sable female, and red and black male.One of them will be coming home with me in a couple of weeks. Can hardly wait.

This is a brother, long coat. both parents are regular coats. I'm pretty sure that what looks silvery to you now, will indeed go tan possibly red. I in no way see it as a blue!

The puppy in question is black and tan. The grey colour will most likely turn a rich tan.

your puppies are normal black/tan. The grey is only puppy fur - the adult color (brown, tan or reddish) will come in when the adult coat comes in.

I agree with you Molly, Here is a color I got 2 yrs ago from an all black male to a black/sable female. Notic the color chang as he grew. sorry for the big picture, not sure how to make them smaller.
