Ok, what about cat turds? That is the only bad habit one of mine has. I can not for the life of me keep her out of the litter box or from scarfing them up outside. The cats don't help either, they like to go in the holes the dogs have dug.

I have heard that pineapple or chopped spinach will help with this issue. There is also something from the Solid Gold dog food company called SEP. It works well.

why not just save the money of buying something and clean the crap up? makes sense.

Are we sure some of it is just not nature? Females eat puppy poop to keep preditors away from the litter. Perhaps instead of getting vitamens, they are trying to clean up anything that might clue a predator into thinkg there is a sick animal about that is easy pickens?
One of the things as a mom that has irked me about dogs is the fasination with dirty diapers, same idea, protect the baby form the bad guys by removing the evidence.

Native Americans, Navajo I think (correct me if I am wrong) called dogs, "eaters of horse poop". I use canned pumpkin with ginger, clove, nutmeg, cinnamon (pumpkin spice added) in their food and my female poop gourmet has slowed down on eating her poop. It usually takes a few weeks to work but we are getting there.

Sounds like a pumpkin pie recipe with out the crust.
